Leaving a flatshare
This needs to be smooth amicable affair, resulting in lasting friendships for many years.
Yeah right. When we bump into you we'll overlook the fact you still owe us £67 for the phone bill and that unmistakenly iron-shaped burn you left on the living room floor when you couldn't be bothered to get out the ironing board and went out leaving it on and then realised what you'd done and moved the sofa to cover it up. Occasionally its because of tensions over the five deadly sins of cleanliness, having people to stay, hogging the bathroom, noise, and food or alcohol 'disappearing.'
You may have to give notice to your landlord, and of course if you haven't already done so, you need to look for another place: make that a learnt experience. try to decide what was good and bad about where you were and translate that into 'did better next time.'
