We are renting out our spare room for a couple of weeks, so ideal for someone who is house hunting and needs a place to stay for a short time. It's a nice double bedroom in a duplex in Bethnal Green close to Shoreditch.
We are a clean, quiet, friendly couple (marketing manager/m and graphic designer/f/languages spoken).
We like art, good music, good films and good food.
The Flat is a very spacious, light maisonette set over the second and third floor of a 4 storey purpose built red brick block in Bethnal Green.
It's a really lovely space and has been refurbished to a high standard.
There is a large kitchen leading into dining area and living room. This is all open plan, and the kitchen is equipped with a good size fridge freezer, a brand new Smeg double electric oven with gas hob, Smeg dishwasher and a Brita tap for filtered tap water.
The whole downstairs has just had solid oak flooring put in, freshly painted walls, and top spec energy efficient spotlights.
Upstairs the flat has been newly painted, and all the floors are painted floorboards.
The bedroom has a double bed plus bedside table, wardrobe and full length mirror.
There is a bathroom with shower over bath, and the toilet is separate.
The location is excellent - a short walk to Bethnal Green tube, Cambridge Heath or Shoreditch High St overground, and very handy for several bus routes (8, 388, 26, 48, 55 and others). It's a 10 or 15 minute walk to Columbia Road, Brick Lane, Shoreditch or Broadway Mkt. Tesco is a 3 min walk, and there's a big Sainsburys in Whitechapel (about 15 min walk).
We are looking for a CLEAN and tidy person!!! Couples are also welcome but it would be 1150 + bills then.
Atm the room would be available until mid- or end of February, so ideal for someone who is looking for a short stay.
