the flat is located just behind Farringdon Sation, in the centre of Hatton Gardens, walking distance to Leather Lane, Smithfields Market, St Pauls, Exmouth Market, Old Street, Barbican, Upper Street, Holborn, Chancery Lane and generally accessible by bike to anywhere in central London and beyond. Bikes are the transport of choice in this house, but of course, there are 4 underground stops and loads of buses in any direction, within less than a minute walk from the flat. We are also lucky to be in a location where, as a resident, you also get a City of London Library card, which gives you access to many facilities around the centre, including the Barbican itself.

The flat is on a quiet and peaceful backstreet, part of a larger modern flat complex. The rent is £1000pcm, not including bills. Bills are: a yearly tv licence, Sky TV/Phone/Broadband, electric, water, gas, and average about £150pcm per person. The rent is payable on the 5th of each month, by direct debit, and so are the bills, both of which need to be confirmed before moving in. There is a one and a half months deposit required prior to moving in, which you will get back with a minimum one month notice period, upon moving out.

Myself, I am a mixture of French, Swedish, and Spanish, having lived worldwide most of my life, and have friends from all over. I run my own businesses from home, working on installations in film, design, animation, photography, and illustration. I currently work fulltime as an animator. I am also an avid blogger in photography, crafts, and fashion.

I love to entertain and go out, visit museums/exhibitions, have friends over for diner, et al, but of course respecting each others privacy goes without saying, and I dont mind just hanging out separately while at home. I am clean, and generally an organised person, but quite laid back, so the occasional dishes in the sink is alright, as long as its not a habit ;)

I am looking for someone happy and friendly, responsible, professional, with a fulltime job, preferably in similar fields, who doesnt mind a good laugh, a glass of wine together sometimes, cooking, and the occasional get together with friends, or just chilling out at home talking music and what ever else comes to mind. Though it would be nice to find someone who is looking for a home rather than just a place to sleep, I am open to people looking for a week day(Monday-Friday) accommodation, people who might be commuting from outside of London, and need a place during the week, as well as short let candidates.

The room, as well as the rest of the flat, is modern, freshly painted, has a built-in closet. The layout of the house also seems to allow us to get some space when we need it. Every day there seems to be something new and fun popping up around the area, being in the centre of Clerkenwell, so there are plenty of things to do.

If you are local to EC1, and/or work close by, it is the perfect location, as there is no real need to spend money on transport.
