Double room available in first-floor flat in Highbury.

The room itself is a bright, reasonably-sized double (approx. 12' x 9') which is furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers and built-in wardrobe. The flat has a modern, fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living room, a balcony which gets a lot of use in warm weather. Wireless broadband is available.

The flat is in a great location near to shops / restaurants – Stoke Newington Church Street and Highbury Barn are both minutes walk and Upper Street is just a short bus ride. The lovely Clissold Park is literally round the corner. There are great transport connections: Arsenal tube station (Piccadilly line) is a short walk with Finsbury Park (Piccadilly, Victoria lines) and Canonbury (London Overground) also close. It's also well served with buses, with routes 4, 19, 141, 341 and more stopping close by. If you cycle, there is storage space available for your bike.

You would be sharing with two friendly, professional guys working in education (Jo) and consultancy (Alex), both 27. We tend to have slightly different schedules so we're not always in at the same time but also regularly go out for drinks / food / etc. We're looking for a sociable person who will join in the life of the flat but is also independent. (Someone with an appreciation of a good cup of tea gets extra points!)

We are clean and tidy but not neurotic about it and are looking for a flatmate who is the same.

Our potential flatmate could be male or female, and we're gay friendly.

The rent would be £525/month excluding bills which we split evenly. We tend to cook separately but share staples (e.g. milk).

The room is available now but this can be a bit flexible.
