I am leaving London and relocating to Bath for a new job opportunity, and I therefore have a super nice room available. The flat is a very spacious (over 800 square feet) 2 bedroom/2 bathroom flat, in the very sought after Oval Quarter, a brand new development built less than 2 years ago. Do not look at Google maps, it still shows the area while it was just a building site! No updated yet - that tells you how new the building is!2 supermarkets, several cafes and restaurants are a short distance away. Oval tube 10/15 minutes walk and Brixton few bus stops away. Huge communal garden in front of the flat. Lift within building.
Generous open plan living & dining, with a dual aspect, opening onto a large balcony.
Full height floor to ceiling windows in all rooms flooding the rooms with natural light.
Sleek high gloss kitchen with integrated appliances - including dishwasher! - and induction hob. Additional storage in the hallway, with washing machine in separate cupboard. Smart door entry system can be operated remotely from mobile phone and caller identification via a specific TV channel.
The room up for grab is the master ensuite. It's got a double bed with 4 drawers beneath, two spacious beside table, a large mirrored fitted wardrobe with sliding doors and a tall toilet cabinet. Black out curtains to the window. Tiled bathroom with wc, wash basin and powerful shower.
Parking on the street is available. Bike storage on ground floor.
The existing flatmate is a mature, super friendly senior architect who spends his weekend in Cardiff, where he comes from and works in London during the week only. The landlady is one of the best people I have come across in my life. Very caring and proactive, she provides us with anything we need without hesitation - a very rare thing, particularly in London!!
References and credit check will be necessary, but no fees are required. Bills on top, are around 100 pounds per month.
We are looking for a nice, considerate and friendly flatmate who is happy to have the flat for her/himself during the week end and is up for a chat or a glass of wine in the evening but is also respectful of the other flatmate's privacy.
If you made it to read the whole advert, it means you're interested :) so don't hesitate contacting me. It's a rare opportunity and it breaks my heart to leave such a good accommodation, I would never if it wasn't for my job. We are extremely flexible with the move in date, so let us know and we'll find an agreement. More photos to follow shortly.
